BISTEC Global Services, through its Hearts Academy, proudly concluded its Speechcraft program with an inspiring award ceremony held at the Hatch Works Auditorium. This 10-session program, organized in collaboration with The Colombo Toastmasters Club, was meticulously designed to improve the public speaking abilities of our team members, affectionately known as “Hearts.” The program aimed to help them grow in confidence, leadership, and effective communication.
Throughout the Hearts Academy Speechcraft Program, participants engaged in a series of interactive sessions that honed their public speaking skills. They learned valuable communication techniques, including speech organization, vocal variety, and body language. These sessions were instrumental in building the confidence needed to speak eloquently in front of an audience. The Speechcraft program proved to be an enriching experience, fostering personal and professional growth among all participants.
The award ceremony was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the participants. It marked the culmination of their efforts and growth over the 10 sessions. Inspiring speeches, heartfelt acknowledgments, and the presentation of awards to those who excelled filled the event. It was a moment of pride for BISTEC Global Services and Hearts Academy, showcasing the commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

The Hearts Academy at BISTEC successfully hosted its 3rd Annual Hearts Academy Day on September 6th, 2024, focusing on the theme “Building a Future-Ready Workforce with Emerging Technologies.” Over 100 participants joined for an afternoon packed with insightful, thought-provoking, and knowledge-sharing sessions led by professionals from various industries.
The event featured a distinguished panel of speakers with expertise across diverse industries. Jonathan Walters, Senior Manager for Global Corporate Network & Managed Technology Services at BDO Global, kicked things off with a captivating keynote session on “Future Work Models and Flexibility,” followed by a fun icebreaker stand-up comedy session by Divakar David, ensuring everyone was energized for the main sessions ahead.
