On April 25th, BISTEC Global had the pleasure of participating in the career fair at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. It was an enlightening experience for our team to connect with passionate data science students eager to make their mark in the tech industry.

The KDU Career Fair provided a valuable platform for us to showcase the exciting career opportunities available at BISTEC Global. We engaged in stimulating discussions with the students, learning about their aspirations and areas of interest within the dynamic field of data science.

BISTEC MH, in partnership with BISTEC Global and BISTEC Hearts Academy, successfully concluded a transformative 6-week Australian Bookkeeping Training Program. This program, designed to equip aspiring professionals with in-demand accounting skills, was a resounding success. 

The training featured a comprehensive curriculum including an in-person introduction, online self-paced learning modules, and engaging live virtual sessions led by experienced accountants. Participants benefited from weekly guidance from a dedicated course coordinator and demonstrated their proficiency through written and practical assessments. 

To honour the participants’ achievements, BISTEC MH hosted an awards ceremony at the Hatch Auditorium. The event was graced by Mr. Indraka Liyanage, President of AAT Sri Lanka, along with the dedicated team from Hearts Academy. 

By providing access to an Australian-based curriculum, BISTEC MH empowered individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the competitive accounting landscape. This program signifies the organisation’s commitment to nurturing talent and creating pathways to professional success. 

We are thrilled to announce that we were the Platinum Sponsor for BIVIZWAR, KDU’s Power BI Competition held on February 2nd! This event provided a platform for students to showcase their skills and creativity in data visualization using Power BI.
